Just hanging out, so what?
I complain about this every time I spend more than 11 bucks to see a movie, but hey, its a legit complaint.
Tonight I saw FANTASTIC MR FOX at the Archlight in Hollywood. It is an awesome theater and is worth paying more, but seriously, is it worth $15.50?
I have a really hard time paying as much for a movie as I do for a DVD, so the question is: do I see it in the theaters or just wait for the DVD? Advantage of seeing it in the theater is you can talk about it with friends…advantage of DVD is, well, keeping it. Especially when Joanna and I go together, it can be up to 30 bucks…
the lesson I have learned? Go to AMC and use coupons!!! I refuse to pay so much for these movies!
Rant over, thanks for listening.
Fantastic me fox was good!!! Even though tickets were a billion bucks, we got to see this display in the lobby!
So, I read every day but I haven’t posted in a while, so its about time. I’m not sure what I want to do in entertainment, TV or film. I have been told you have to make your decision early, and I’m worried because I’m in TV now but feel like I want to do film. When I was in film, I felt like I wanted to do TV. I feel like I’ll always want the other. Some things I noticed, though, is after I watch a really good TV show (DEXTER, MAD MEN, etc.) I want to do TV. After I watch a good movie, such as when I was watching WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE, I was all about doing film. On the other hand, I saw SAW VI and after watching all the trailers before it, I didn’t want to do film. So, I have determined that it depends on what I’m watching…bad TV or bad movies convince me the other way, so as long as I surround myself with good tv or film, I think then I will not regret the other. I bet that none of this has made sense, but its been good for me to talk about it!
Omg. Bob saget. Kevin nealon. And hunter Parrish was in the audience to support.
